DropShipping companies to know
We’ve talked about a lot of different DropShipping companies that can help your business grow on the blog before, but it has been a while since we did a roundup, and things have definitely changed since then! There are so many different companies that are supporting DropShipping, and while they won’t all be the right fit for your business, there’s plenty of choice out there – so where do you start?
In this post, we’ve rounded up some of the best resources you can find to help your business, and whether you’re just getting started, you’re looking to scale up, or you’re ready to start doing some wholesale business, you’ll find what you need here.
Things to consider when you’re choosing a DropShipping company
While these questions will help you decide if a company that you’re thinking about working with is the right fit, it certainly isn’t a definitive list – and there may be more to consider, when you think about what your business needs right now.
- What do you want to achieve by working with the company?
- How will the company help your business scale up on the timeline you have in mind?
- What is the biggest pain-point that you are looking to fix?
- How much time will working with that company take up?
- What is the financial cost of working with that company? (subscriptions, upfront costs, developer costs)
- Does the company have the automation you need? (such as integrations with sales channels)
- Are there alternative companies that may perform better?
- What commitment is required – do you need to sign up for a certain length of time, for example?
Alibaba and AliExpress
Alibaba and AliExpress are the big ones when it comes to DropShipping from China – the ones that almost everyone has heard of, whether they have been involved in DropShipping or not. Alibaba is for retailers that want to be able to buy in bulk, so if you’re just starting out in DropShipping, then you’re going to be looking towards AliExpress instead, where you can source low-priced items for delivery to customers worldwide. You’re probably already aware of the issues that many DropShipping businesses report with AliExpress DropShipping, such as long delivery times and communication issues, so you may want to use one of the services that make AliExpress DropShipping easier.

With B2B access to more than 2.2 million businesses globally supporting more than 26 million users around the world, and multilingual sales, DHGate should definitely be on your radar if you’re thinking about DropShipping internationally.
While there are a lot of benefits to working with DHGate, you’ll need to remember that many suppliers will be based in China – and so you are likely to encounter long wait times for orders to arrive, which won’t delight your customers. If you’re going to use DHGate, it’ll be worth your while identifying suppliers that are based closer to your target customers.
Doba is a US-based DropShipping platform that has been running for more than 20 years, and has served more than 600,000 stores during that time. Integrations include Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Wix, Walmart, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Newegg, Square, and Shift4Shop, and there is access to API, so you can connect that way if you need to. There’s a 30-day free trial, and subscriptions start at $39.00 per month (paid annually).
Founded in 2015, Dropified was launched for Shopify users to source products from AliExpress and eBay. Today, there are more sales channel integrations, including BigCommerce, WooCommerce, CommerceHQ, and GrooveKart. If you’re using Facebook Marketplace as one of your sales channels, then the Facebook Marketplace lister will come in handy too. Subscriptions start at $39 per month, but there are often special offers – as we write this post, there’s a lifetime subscription for a one-time payment of just $60, and there’s free customer service to help you get the most from the system.
DSers is the DropShipping app that Shopify currently recommends now that Oberlo has been retired. In addition to Shopify, you can use the DSers service with WooCommerce and Wix, but there aren’t any other sales channel integrations as we write this post. However, if you’re DropShipping from AliExpress through Shopify, there’s pretty decent functionality, so DSers is well worth considering – especially when there’s a free plan, and subscription packages start at just $19.90 per month.
National DropShippers is another US-based company that offers access to products across a wide range of categories for DropShipping. There doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of automation offered – they recommend copying and pasting product images and descriptions to your listings, or downloading an Excel file – but the low cost of lifetime membership may mean that it is worth it. Memberships for National DropShippers start at just $23.99 per month, or you can buy a lifetime membership for $299.00.
If you’ve been away from the eCommerce industry for a while, then you might not have heard – although you’d have to have been really avoiding industry news to not know – the Oberlo app is no more. It was shut down by their owners Shopify in June 2022, and if AliExpress DropShipping is the right move for your business, then there are loads of options, but Shopify themselves are recommending DSers as their AliExpress DropShipping partner. We took a deep dive into the shutting down of, and the alternatives to Oberlo in this post.
SaleHoo have a directory, an automated DropShipping option, and eCommerce training on offer, so depending on what you’re looking for, you’ll pay a different subscription – and of course, if you want access to each part of their offering, you’ll pay for each separately. The company has been in existence since 2005, and so as you’d expect, they have a lot to offer. They’ve got more than 8,000 suppliers with over 2.5 million products that can be added to your Shopify store (there aren’t any other sales channel integrations at present) with basic plans starting at just $27 per month. SaleHoo suppliers set their own shipping arrangements, so if you’re looking to make sales internationally, you’ll just need to be strategic about which suppliers you work with.
If DSers doesn’t suit your needs for DropShipping, then maybe Spocket will. It is a US-based company, so is ideal if you’re looking to reach customers across America, and there are suppliers worldwide too. There are integrations for BigCommerce, Shopify, Felex, Wix, Ecwid, Squarespace, WooCommerce, and Square – so whichever way you’ve created your store, you can list your products easily. There’s a free trial account, and the starter package starts at $24.99 for just 25 products, scaling to £99.99 when you’re sourcing more than 250 products.
Founded in 2004, Wholesale2B boasts more than a million products for DropShipping. Another US-based company, Wholesale2B offers product sourcing, order fulfilment, handling of returns, listing tools, import tools for leading E-commerce sites and CSV files. The challenges that we see with Wholesale2B is that support for shipping is only available for the US and Canada, and their subscription pricing. Importing products to a store costs $29.99 per month, then to import to each marketplace, you’ll be looking at $37.99 per month – which adds up quickly – but you can import up to 10,000 products for that price.
If you’re not prepared to pay for access to any kind of directory for B2B suppliers, then Wholesale Central is a useful resource for you to know about. It might be free to use, but most things that come free take a little extra work – and Wholesale Central does too. It takes a bit more time to find what you’re looking for, but given that this is a completely free resource, we don’t think you can complain really. US-based retailers will find the trade shows listings particularly useful too.
Worldwide Brands is a database of wholesalers that gets updated regularly – so if you’re looking for more than one company, or you’re on a mission to scale up dramatically, then the Worldwide Brands database might be a really useful resource. Established in 1999, as you can imagine, there is a lot of information in the database at this point, and while there’s a lot of focus on US suppliers and wholesalers, there are more international suppliers being added all the time. There’s no automation with Worldwide Brands, so it really is gaining access to a directory, but there are many satisfied reviews on Trustpilot – just one 1 star review – which speaks volumes. Lifetime access costs $299, but there are frequent sales on this, and as we write, the price is marked down to just $197 – so if there isn’t a special offer and you’re not in a hurry, it might pay you to wait.
Our list of DropShipping resources is one that we think is pretty useful, but is almost certainly going to remain a work in progress as we identify more great companies.
